This tag was created by Shelby Masako. I found it on The Indecisive Reader‘s blog. Check out their post here. It’s been really fun finding spooky/fall themed book tags. I’m not huge into Halloween, but I do like a creepy gothic novel or suspense book. Are you guys into Halloween? What are your favorite spooky books?Continue reading “The Spooky Books Tag”

I’m in Massachusetts this week visiting family and have been enjoying the time off. Hoping the weather will hold up so we can visit the beach tomorrow or Friday. It was my kitten, Momo’s, first long car ride, but she did amazingly and is excited to explore a new place.Continue reading “WWW Wednesday”
Top Ten Tuesday is a tag meme hosted by Jana at That Artsy Reader Girl. This week’s theme is “Books That Should Be Adapted into Netflix Shows/Movies”. This tag was submitted by Nushu at Not a Prima Donna Girl. This was a really fun tag and I found I already had most of the answers in mind already! There are so many books I’m dying to see on my TV!Continue reading “Top Ten Tuesday: Books that Should Be Netflix Shows”

And often, I’m more likely to post a bad review than a good one. Feeling betrayed or disappointed by a book seems to elicit a stronger emotion in me than being wowed by a book. That’s something I need to change – as most of my favorite books I’ve never reviewed!Continue reading “Top Ten Tuesday: Books I Loved That I Didn’t Review”
Happy Monday! Hope everyone had a nice weekend!
Hurricane Isaias rolled through the East coast last week, taking down lots of trees in our neighborhood and causing a ton of power outages. We were lucky to be spared from losing our power and suffered no real damage, unlike the storm last year that spirited our gazebo off. I’ve been busy keeping up with Momo (my new kitten), which has cut into my reading/writing time quite a bit.Read more
It was recently the ten-year anniversary of One Direction forming as a band on the seventh season of the UK’s X-Factor. They were only together for six years, but really made a mark on the music scene and on me. I found this tag on Lauren’s page (Lala’s Book Reviews). You can check out her post here. Thanks to thecritiquesofafangirl for creating this tag. Go check out her post! Also, I recently did a Louis Tomlinson Walls book tag if anyone’s interested in his solo work!Continue reading “One Direction Book Tag”
