Top Ten Tuesday: Books I Loved That I Didn’t Review

Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl. This week’s theme is “ten books I loved that I haven’t reviewed”. I have to admit, I’m not great about posting reviews. And often, I’m more likely to post a bad review than a good one. Feeling betrayed or disappointed by a book seems to elicit a stronger emotion in me than being wowed by a book. That’s something I need to change – as most of my favorite books I’ve never reviewed!

It’s Monday, What Are You Reading? #IMWAYR

Happy Monday! Hope everyone had a nice weekend!

Hurricane Isaias rolled through the East coast last week, taking down lots of trees in our neighborhood and causing a ton of power outages. We were lucky to be spared from losing our power and suffered no real damage, unlike the storm last year that spirited our gazebo off. I’ve been busy keeping up with Momo (my new kitten), which has cut into my reading/writing time quite a bit.

It’s Monday, What Are You Reading? #IMWAYR

It’s Monday once again! It’s been a fun week playing with my new kitten, Momo. She’s got a ton of energy this week and gets into loads of trouble, but she’s still adorable. Had some friends over on Thursday last week and actually ventured to the mall! (Just to the food court, but still). Was the first time in months I’ve had a good boba tea so I was in heaven. On to the books!

WWW Wednesday

WWW Wednesday is a weekly meme hosted by Sam over on Taking on a World of Words. Every week, you dedicate a post to the three W’s: What are you currently reading? What have you just finished reading? What are you going to read next? Since I didn’t post a “It’s Monday, What Are You Reading? #IMWAYR” I figured I’d do the Wednesday book tag!

The Coffee Book Tag

I’m a long-time barista and absolutely love coffee, so when I found this tag on Anna’s Book Nook, I knew I had to do it! This tag originated at Sumedha’s blog The Wordy Habitat. I just got an at-home espresso machine and I’ve been experimenting with making the perfect latte, so this post couldn’t be more timely!

It’s Monday, What Are You Reading? #IMWAYR

It’s Monday once more! I had a long tiring week, but I learned a lot! The New York Pitch Conference was moved online from March because of Covid-19, so I had 8-hour days of Zoom conferences Thursday-Sunday. I kind of have mixed emotions about everything right now, but I’m trying to remain positive and take everything as a lesson. I haven’t been reading as much this week…but managed to finish the book I started last week.
