Top Ten Tuesday: Book Titles That Are Complete Sentences

Top Ten Tuesday was created by The Broke and the Bookish in June of 2010 and was moved to That Artsy Reader Girl in January 2018. It was born of a love of lists, a love of books, and a desire to bring bookish friends together. This week’s topic is “Book Titles That Are Complete Sentences” (Submitted by Jessica @ A Cocoon of Books).

5 On My TBR

5OnMyTBR was created by E from Local Bee Hunters Nook, but I found it on Michaela’s blog Journey Into Books. Be sure to check out her post! 5OnMyTBR is a series where you show some love to books sitting on your TBR (to-be-read) list by picking 5 that relate to that week’s topic. This week’s topic is “Purple Cover”.

2021 Intentions

I think we can all agree that 2020 has been a crazy year for everyone. And while it’s been unpredictable and tumultuous for me as well, it’s resulted in a lot of personal and professional growth. I feel really positive and hopeful going into 2021 and anticipate a lot of major life changes. I’m not a huge fan of resolutions, but I’d like to set a few intentions for 2021.

Most Anticipated YA Reads of 2021 (January-August)

Happy New Year! It’s been a minute since I posted. I took a break over the holidays and got some extra reading and schoolwork done and spent time with my immediate family. Hope everyone had a nice, relaxing holiday. I just squeaked by my goal of reading 75 books in 2020, though I had to listen to the last book on audiobook because I got Lasik surgery on the 30th. Recovering nicely and excited to start off the new year right. Here are some of my most anticipated reads for 2021!

It’s Monday, What Are You Reading?

Happy Monday! Hope everyone is doing well and had a nice weekend. It’s been about two weeks since I posted and I’ve been feeling guilty and also really missing everyone on here! Teaching and being back in school has sucked my energy dry. The cold and dark of winter hasn’t helped either. I had a nice Thanksgiving with just three members of my immediate family. We’ve been eating vegetarian, so we made homemade pasta instead of turkey this year. How was everyone else’s Thanksgiving (if you celebrate)?

The End of the Year Book Tag (2020)

This tag was created by Ariel Bissett on Youtube. Be sure to check out her videos there! I combined this book tag with the Mid Year Freak Out book tag just to see my progress from July and to see if any of my picks changed. I also took out some questions that just didn’t pertain. ( Earl Grey Books and ReadLikeWildFire created the Mid Year Freak Out tag.) Let’s go!

Top Ten Tuesday: Book Titles that Would Make Great Song Titles

Top Ten Tuesday was created by The Broke and the Bookish in June of 2010 and was moved to That Artsy Reader Girl in January 2018. It was born of a love of lists, a love of books, and a desire to bring bookish friends together. This week’s topic is “Book Titles that Would Make Great Song Titles”. This prompt was submitted by Deanna @ A Novel Glimpse. I thought it would be fun to pair the song titles with an artist and do a little twist on this tag.
