Well, it’s officially been forever since I last updated. I’m happy to say I’ve finally finished the course-work portion of my teacher training and only have to do my student teaching! It’s been completely exhausting and I finally feel like I can breathe again. Going forward, I should have a lot of more time (at least until the fall) to work on writing and this blog.Continue reading “April Wrap-up / Life Updates”
WWW Wednesday is a weekly meme hosted by Sam over on Taking on a World of Words. Every week, you dedicate a post to the three W’s: What are you currently reading? What have you just finished reading? What are you going to read next?
I’m sorry I’ve been so lax on updating. It’s been ridiculously snowy here on the East coast, so I’ve been more than happy to stay indoors and read. I’ve also starting working on some miniatures to unwind after work. But mostly, I’ve been busy doing 60-70 hour weeks between work and school, which is not leaving a ton of time for blogging. Happy New Year! It’s been a minute since I posted. I took a break over the holidays and got some extra reading and schoolwork done and spent time with my immediate family. Hope everyone had a nice, relaxing holiday. I just squeaked by my goal of reading 75 books in 2020, though I had to listen to the last book on audiobook because I got Lasik surgery on the 30th. Recovering nicely and excited to start off the new year right. Here are some of my most anticipated reads for 2021!Continue reading “Most Anticipated YA Reads of 2021 (January-August)”
Continue reading “The End of the Year Book Tag (2020)”
This tag was created by Ariel Bissett on Youtube. Be sure to check out her videos there! I combined this book tag with the Mid Year Freak Out book tag just to see my progress from July and to see if any of my picks changed. I also took out some questions that just didn’t pertain. ( Earl Grey Books and ReadLikeWildFire created the Mid Year Freak Out tag.) Let’s go!
Top Ten Tuesday was created by The Broke and the Bookish in June of 2010 and was moved to That Artsy Reader Girl in January 2018. It was born of a love of lists, a love of books, and a desire to bring bookish friends together. This week’s topic is “Book Titles that Would Make Great Song Titles”. This prompt was submitted by Deanna @ A Novel Glimpse. I thought it would be fun to pair the song titles with an artist and do a little twist on this tag.Continue reading “Top Ten Tuesday: Book Titles that Would Make Great Song Titles”
