The Spooky Books Tag

This tag was created by Shelby Masako. I found it on The Indecisive Reader‘s blog. Check out their post here. It’s been really fun finding spooky/fall themed book tags. I’m not huge into Halloween, but I do like a creepy gothic novel or suspense book. Are you guys into Halloween? What are your favorite spooky books?

The Pumpkin Spice Latte Book Tag

This tag was originally created by Azia at The Uncharted Word. I wasn’t tagged, but found this tag on Sofii’s blog A Book A Thought. I love pumpkin spice lattes and don’t even care that it’s a white girl cliche. Do what makes you happy! I say. This is another tag in keeping with the spooky season.

Why I Don’t Subscribe to Book Boxes

This might be an unpopular opinion in the book community, but I’ve never subscribed to Owl Crate or Book of the Month or Fae Crate. In fact, I’ve never subscribed to any book subscription service ever. And for someone who loves reading as much as I do, some might find it a little strange. Book boxes are the Christmas (or Hanukkah or Eid or whatever you celebrate) of books! The boxes are full of surprises – signed copies, amazing art-work, exclusive items. Things you can’t find anywhere else! And yet…

I haven’t posted in a while; I’ve been feeling a bit run-down. But I miss blogging and all of you! Thankfully, I’ll be taking a mini vacation next week to visit my aunt in Massachusetts so hopefully I’ll have more time to dedicate to writing and blogging.

Top Ten Tuesday: Books that Should Be Netflix Shows

Top Ten Tuesday is a tag meme hosted by Jana at That Artsy Reader Girl. This week’s theme is “Books That Should Be Adapted into Netflix Shows/Movies”. This tag was submitted by Nushu at Not a Prima Donna Girl. This was a really fun tag and I found I already had most of the answers in mind already! There are so many books I’m dying to see on my TV!

It’s Monday, What Are You Reading? #IMWAYR

It’s Monday once again! It’s been a fun week playing with my new kitten, Momo. She’s got a ton of energy this week and gets into loads of trouble, but she’s still adorable. Had some friends over on Thursday last week and actually ventured to the mall! (Just to the food court, but still). Was the first time in months I’ve had a good boba tea so I was in heaven. On to the books!
