Been struggling a bit with focus since school ended. Having a hard time getting through books, so I split it up by doing a little middle grade reading.
What I’m Currently Reading:
I took a break from Folklorn during a reading slump and I just picked it back up. I’m about 80 percent through it now. I really enjoy it, but it is more of a meandering read and not a fast-paced read.
What I’ve Just Finished Reading:
I just finished reading Thanks A Lot, Universe by Chad Lucas. I hadn’t heard of this book, but saw it on someone’s blog. I’m always looking for diverse middle-grade books and this book definitely fits the bill. I think the ending felt a bit abrupt, but I really loved the characters and characterization.
What I’m Going to Read Next:
The Ones We’re Meant to Find by Joan He has gotten some really great reviews and I love that gorgeous cover! I got tired of waiting for it from the library and finally bought it. Really excited to start reading it!

This is a fun idea! I’m currently reading A Pho Love Story by Loan Le. Just finished Ariadne by Jennifer Saint. I don’t plan my next read but will probably do Love Your Life by Sophie Kinsella next as it’s due to the library lol

I just finished The Woman in the Window by A.J. Finn, currently reading Station Eleven by Emily St. John Mandel and will be reading/listening to Broken Horses by Brandi Carlile next.

Just finished Broken Horses. You must listen to the audiobook as she plays songs after each chapter. Amazing to see how the songs and stories are intertwined.
