WWW Wednesday is a weekly meme hosted by Sam over on Taking on a World of Words. Every week, you dedicate a post to the three W’s: What are you currently reading? What have you just finished reading? What are you going to read next?
What I’m Currently Reading:

I’m still savoring Leigh Bardugo’s illustrated book The Lives of Saints. It’s a quick read, but I like that you can read just a few short stories before bed and not to commit to it all at once.
What I’ve Just Finished Reading:
This week, I read two really great books. Kassandra Montag’s After the Flood and Tana French’s The Searcher. I rated them five and four stars, respectively. After the Flood followed a mother and daughter adrift after global warming/flooding, who get tangled up with a group of new people. The prose were gorgeous and I was filled with dread nearly the whole book about what would happen to them, but thankfully the ending was satisfying. The Searcher is Tana French’s take on a Western / Mystery and I really loved the descriptions of Ireland and the spirited little kid, Trey, that the protagonist befriends.
What I’m Going to Read Next:

My gorgeous physical copy of Naomi Novik’s A Deadly Education arrived and is currently on my nightstand, so this one is definitely up next.
What are you reading this week? Are you planning on reading or have you read any of these books? Leave me a comment an we’ll chat! x
Until next time,

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Hi Leigh,
I love your posts. I always find a new novel to add to my TBR list. This time I’m going to add A Deadly Education.
I’m reading Practical Magic, Alice Hoffman. I wanted something magical for October. I can’t believe I never read it before. I also purchased The Invisible Life of Addie LaRue, VE Schwab. That’s going to be my next read.
Happy reading,
Amanda

Hey Amanda,
I’m so glad! Oh, I love Practical Magic. The movie too! I’m reading A Deadly Education now – sort of like the Harry Potter dorms, but more dangerous so far haha
You’ll have to let me know how the Invisible Life of Addie LaRue is 🙂
Thanks so much! x Leigh

You know, I don’t know that Lives of Saints was worth the price. It was a good kind of one-off if you’re a superfan, but nothing really memorable about it.
Thank you! x

No physical copies of books. I’m still listening to The Agincourt Bride and reading Season of the Witch. I just finished Hotter than Hell (shorts), and my next book to read is The Delhi Detectives Handbook and Hollidays are Hell (shorts).

Yeah, I hadn’t really heard anything about After the Flood, but I really loved it! I’m about two chapters into Deadly Education – reads almost like a more dangerous Harry Potter, so I’m having fun so far!
Thank you! x

It is great fun – not having teachers is where this one diverges…

Great Job Leigh !
I just finished The Chief Engineer, the story of John Nd Washington Roebling , the builders of the Brooklyn and Cincinnati Blue bridge. I just started a biography on Tesla. Leigh knows I like non- fiction
