Happy Monday once again! My birthday was this Saturday and I had a really nice birthday weekend. At work Saturday morning, I had cake and a round of Happy Birthdays. My mom and I had lobster for dinner. Sunday, I had a handful of friends over for a backyard barebecue – social distancing edition! It was really nice to see some friends I haven’t seen in months (other than on Zoom/Facetime). There was a little miscommunication though because we ended up with FOUR cakes! I guess there’s no such thing as too much cake.
WHAT I READ LAST WEEK:
Last week I read Lobizona by Romina Garber. I wrote up a review of it here if you missed it! I’m just finishing up the last ten percent of June Boys today, so I’m going to count it as “read last week”.
WHAT I’M READING NOW:
Going to get started on these two this week. Can’t wait to read them! They bot have such gorgeous covers!
WHAT I’M READING NEXT:
I pre-ordered Agnes at the End of the World, which comes out on June 9th and I’m hoping to get a copy of the State of Us, which comes out June 2nd, from my local library.
Still dying to read this E-Arc of We Were Restless Things and the gorgeous hardcover of Deeplight I got from Blackwells.
What did you read this week? Have you read or enjoyed any of these books? Let’s chat below!
Until next week,

Hppy birthday.
