Photo Prompt Friday: Through A Glass Darkly

“For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face: now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known.

– Corinthians Chap 13, verse 12.

To see “through a glass” means to have an obscure or imperfect vision of reality. How does water or glass warp these images? How does this distortion make the photos more surreal, frightening, dreamy or abstract? With today’s prompt, think of characters who have a warped self-image. Why can’t they see themselves clearly? Do they see themselves as a monster? A savior? A God? Why does this self-image not match the reality?
