Hope everyone had a great week! Not much to report here. Mostly been reading, writing, watching movies, crafting and going for the occasional walk. I’d love to hear what everyone is reading and how they’re finding it!
I’ve started blogging more frequently during quarantine and so far, I’ve really enjoyed it. I love writing, getting to meet new people, finding new book recommendations and more!
But after reading some posts from regular book bloggers, I do worry about the pressure of having to read enough books or the right books. I don’t ever want reading and blogging to feel like chores. I also don’t want to post exclusively about books and feel restricted regarding my content. Do any of you feel like this? How do you navigate it?
I was trying to read 2-3 books a week, but it’s really not sustainable for me long term. I underestimated how much this free time would be necessary for rest, grieving and contemplation. It’s good to be productive, but I don’t want to micromanage every moment of my time.
All in all, I’ve been feeling a bit like this:

Anyway, on to the reading! I’ve been trying to get to some much anticipated sequels I’ve been stalling on.

WHAT I’M READING NEXT:

What’s everyone else reading? Are you still working? If not, how have you been spending your free time?
Keep safe and healthy,
